Refund & Returns
We want your Caribbeantan experience to feel simple, clear, and reassuring. Please read the guidelines below before arranging a return, refund, or exchange.
Returns
In line with global retail industry standards, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on skincare, make-up, toiletries, and cosmetic products unless they are damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and unopened
- In its original packaging
- In the same condition in which it was received
To request a return, please send your proof of purchase or order number to hello@caribbeantan.online.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
Refunds
Refund requests must be made within 7 working days of receiving your order.
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email to confirm whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within a reasonable number of days.
In some cases, the value of the returned item may be issued as a gift voucher for use on the website.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund, please first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card provider or bank, as refunds can take time to reflect depending on processing times.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded.
Sale items are not eligible for a refund, but an online voucher may be offered instead.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email caribbeantan@hqza.co.za.
Gift Returns
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of the return once the item has been received and approved.

Customers are responsible for their own return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping may be deducted from the refund where applicable.
Exchange delivery lead times may vary depending on your location and standard courier timelines.
