The NEW Bronzing Lotion by Caribbeantan

With a Sun Protective Factor of 20, this new formula protects your skin from harmful sun exposure and treats your skin with multiple nourishing ingredients such as: Vitamin E, a super skin antioxidant that neutralises free radicals to help prevent your skin cells from damage. Essential Cranberry Fruit Extract, rich in vitamin C to encourage collagen production that improves the skin’s elasticity.

The boosted collagen production helps to carry oxygen and nutrients to the skin, leaving it feeling ultra-soft to the touch, firm and fabulously glowing. Shea Butter moisturises & nourishes the skin and supports collagen production leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.

How does it work?  

The Bronzing lotion contains similar colour properties found in the Caribbeantan shimmer cream to give an instant brown tan colour to the skin.

Is it the same as a self-tan? 

No. The Bronzing lotion SPF20 does not contain DHA which is the key ingredient in self-tan products to react with the skin and produce a tan that does not wash off.  The Bronzer will wash off – no tan develops. 

How long does it last?

The tan will last for approx. 10 -12 hours.  Should you perspire or swim the tan will come off.  Be sure to take your Bronzing lotion with to reapply afterwards.

Does it make you look streaky? 

The Bronzing lotion needs be rubbed in well.  For those with drier skin, we recommend applying a layer of Body Butter before applying the Bronzing Lotion.  This will ensure an even, easy application. 

Best application method?

To avoid stained hands and for a streak-free application – we recommend applying with a body makeup brush or a tanning mitt for best results. 

Can you use the Bronzing lotion on your face?

The Bronzing lotion can be used on the face.  Use a pea-sized amount after your normal moisturizer application.  (always apply a moisturizer to the face first) We recommend a patch test before applying to the entire face.  Avoid the eye area and blend into and behind the ears and down to the décolleté.

How much should I apply?

Less is more.  Apply small amounts at a time to ensure a patch-free coverage. 

Does it wash off?

Ensure that you wash your hands in immediately after application with warm water and soap.  Rub the hands to remove the product or use a facecloth.  The lotion is water soluble and the colour will wash out of the facecloth.
