We’ve got those 2020 feels. Happy New Year to all our babes out there. We hope that this year will be a golden one and that you’ll be glowing all year round. Among all new years resolutions, we decided to have a tanning schedule new years resolution. A little bit of dedication and planning will have you tanned for the whole year and we’re so ready to be bronzed up all year long.

To begin with, there are three vital steps to ensure that your skin is healthy, glowing and the perfect canvas to start tanning.

Staying hydrated is key to having beautiful skin. Let’s make an effort to drink enough water every single day.

1. Moisturise

Moisturising your skin should be part of your day and night routine every single day. This will keep your skin hydrated and extend the life of your tan. Another tip is to apply moisturiser before your self-tanner application onto areas such as elbows, hands and ankles. Our go-to for ultra-soft skin is our Milk & Honey Hydrating Body Butter.

2. Exfoliate

3.Schedule It

Now that we’ve covered the basics that should be part of your daily/weekly schedule, it’s time to plan the fun part- getting bronzed. So the question is, how often should you tan? Our self-tanners lasts between 4 to 10 days, depending on your skin type and how well you maintain your tan. We would recommend tanning once a week to keep your tan looking fresh.

A few tips:

* Dedicate a certain day in the week that you’ll decide to tan- doing this will make it a routine and it will be easier to commit to it. Schedule your tanning just like you schedule your nail and hair appointments.

* Decide whether you prefer tanning in the day or night and plan your outfit choice or sleepwear accordingly.

* Keep it consistent and it will be part of your weekly routine.
